The Bibambola and Granbambola sofas are part of the Le Bambole collection, an original project from 1972, awarded with the Compasso d'Oro in 1979. Timeless icons, one of the most significant expressions of Made in Italy capable of synthesizing research and imagination, Le Bambole have provided their very personal response to the theme of the session. What makes them special is the apparent absence of a supporting structure, the extreme naturalness of the shape, the synthesis of comfort, softness and elasticity that their appearance communicates with effective evidence. Where the original construction was based on a metal structure embedded in polyurethane, now the materials used are of the latest generation, starting with the second-life polyethylene that gives structure. A project in the name of sustainability thanks to the choice of materials and construction that allow the components of Le Bambole to be disassembled and therefore easily recyclable.
